Pringles and Terrys chocolate orange and getting thrown into the sea!?

We went to Carlingford on the 15th of September. We got the bus at 7am so as you can imagine we weren't actally pleasesd. However, as the bus jounrey went on everyone became more awake and was getting louder and started to get more excited. When we arrived at around 9 carlingford  it was bright the sun was beaming but honestly most school days my eyes are barely open at that time and at the weekend there is no sign of life at 9am.

We got split into groups A and B and litrally after under an hour we were out at sea doing kayaking. It was actually harder than  it looked and the sticky wetsuits didn't help!
After we got back to land well the changing rooms we went and had lunch and then got ready for laser tag. We got changed into camosies (camo onsies) which is my new favourite word. We looked pretty cool with laser guns and we went up into the forest in the mountain which involved walking up a steep hill....

We played with different levels and different games like capture the flag and it was really funny when someone got ''Killed'' as their headband started flasing and 'dead man, man down' would beam out of their headband. We all though we were in the secret surface or something as were taking it very seriously!

After dinner, we had the 'nightline' which basically invloved us walking in a conga line blindfoled in the dark. It was unusal but fun. By the time everyone had got back to the room everyone was devouring the stash of food they brought with them. Ours involved chocolate and crisps and lollipops and I wouldn't try pringles and terrys chcolate orange as its a bit of an overload in the mouth is all ill say

The next day which was our last day we had breakfast and then it was back into the wetsuits again to go canoeing. It was actally a lot easier and our instructor Edel would start singing songs and splash us. We then  went up into the trampoline whuch was in the sea and jump off it was actually really and slippery besides the water in my  mouth... then as we  were making out way back one of the other instructors threw me out of the canoe into the sea along with few others so more celebration for sea water in my mouth!
Then after lunchwe went to the challenge course park and did some of the team buliding exercises. It was good it involved crawling in stones patience and mazes.Everytime a group completed  a challenge in a specific time frame they would get  two gems. My team came second!

After the team bulding challenges were over and we walked back to the center and took some photogaphs it was back on the bus for home! It was a really exciting two days and the instructors were all really nice.

Tracksuits and Heels?!

This week we had three workshops, this included a first aid workshop, a ediquette workshop and a potitive parties workshop. My class,Aurora had the first aid workshop first. The instructor used a human like mannequin to demonstarte cpr. Although we did learn a lot from his demonstration like what pace to go at and where to place your hands the noise the mannequin made when he was pushing down on the mannequins chest was very funny and how it kept deflating and inflating abruptly. In groups we had to practice putting bandages on each other and I failed putting it on my friend Ciara and she ended up looking more like a mummy then an injured person

The next workshop we had was the ediquette workshop we were told to bring in heels for this workshop. We all ended up going to the 2nd yr mall where the instructors had laidout a red carpet and we had to walk up and down balancing our journals on our head then we all put on our heels which which looked quite strange as we were all wearing our

Pe tracksuits! It must have looked really funny to the other year groups seeing us walking up and down a red carpet in our tracksuits and high heels. But, any day to wear heels in school is a good day right? After that we watched some clips on self confidence and then we all got to exfoliate our hands with these amazing smelling exfoliators I used the lemon one and it was so nice our hands were really soft afterwords!

Then finally we had the posh parties workshop we all got sweets and wore these flower necklaces like what they wear in Hawaii and did funny laughing excersies we also had a weird challenge of putting underwear on ourselves but not in the usual way ie. put it on your head. We learnt to be more postive in life.

Over all the workshops were really fun it was a good first week Ty!
